Learning Lebanon politics

Lebanon follows the parliamentary democratic republic political framework. This means that the Legislative power is vested on the Chamber of Deputies while the Executive power rests on the Council of Ministers. The Judicial power is entrusted on judicial courts, varying on levels of jurisdiction and degrees. Moreover, the Constitution enables the President to have a 6-year term. Upon being elected, the President is also responsible in choosing the next Prime Minister.
